Houseboat For Sale

This 1981 Gibson Lazy Cruise Houseboat has a slip on Lake Monroe at Two Herons Marina. We put a lot of love into it over the years, but moved and just don’t use it enough. Right now it’s dry-docked and we’ve been renovating it. Price = 12k/obo.

We recently used antifouling paint on the hull. The hull is in great shape!
All of the navy blue fabric trim comes with the boat. Some just needs to be hung back in place with zip ties.
We used it as a place to rest after early morning water ski sessions. Thus, the “Ski Lodge.”
We took up the carpet inside and out. We replaced the carpet on the upper deck with turf.
We replaced the carpet inside with vinyl plank flooring and painted everything. We added new kitchen cabinets, sink and re-plumbed the whole boat with pex tubing. The head is also relatively new. We did not renovate the bathroom. It was next on the list. The bathroom is to the right of the refrigerator and has a shower. The Marina also has a shower. So , we used it instead. The fridge is also new and comes with the boat.
This couch folds out into a queen sized bed and comes with the boat.
There is a full-sized bed in the bedroom, which comes with the boat. In the bedroom we also painted and installed vinyl plank flooring.
This is the view out the bedroom window.
More pictures of the bedroom.
The outside deck has been sanded. Our plan was to give it an epoxy coat and paint it.
We started the job on the front part of the deck.
We will include the supplies we bought to do this project.
This is the sunset view from the top deck of the boat at Two Heron’s Marina in its slip. As you can see, it has a wonderful sunset view looking out to the causeway!
